Getting Around

Campus is best negotiated on foot, by bike or via the university’s free and convenient Wolfline bus system. All Wolfline buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts.

The Pedestrian Walk Times Map can help you plan a route and estimate the time it takes to get across campus. Wolfline buses follow designated routes on and around campus. There’s even a map that shows where the buses are in real-time so you never have to guess when the next bus will arrive or which bus you need to catch.

If you want a non-motorized transportation alternative, NC State welcomes cyclists. The campus is an urban one, so most bike routes are on-road. Plan ahead and know your route and you can bike to and from class, your dorm or apartment with ease. For more information about alternative transportation options, visit the Wolftrails website.

Parking on Campus

If you work on campus and drive to work, you need to have a parking pass on your vehicle. Passes can be purchased at MyPack Portal, NC State’s online employee website. Eligible employees can arrange a monthly payroll deduction for the pass.
