What should I do first?

A UTS representative will coordinate an onboarding appointment.

Note: If meeting via Zoom, you must still visit campus to present I-9 documentation and receive your ID card. If you are working remotely (out-of-state or in Western/Coastal NC), let us know so we can coordinate a Remote I-9.

Prepare for Your Appointment

When your hire action has been processed in our system, you will receive an email with your Unity ID.

Activate Your Unity ID: To access NC State systems (including MyPack Portal), you must first update your Unity ID password:

New to NC State: Change Your Default Password

Returning to NC State: RESET Your Password

Attend Your Appointment

Attend your Onboarding appointment, where we will assist with:

I-9 Completion*–Be prepared to present your Section 2 documents for the I-9 in person within 3 days of starting work.
