Amy has significant human resources experience. Before joining the Onboarding Center in 2013, she was assistant director of employment services in the human resources division. Since joining NC State in 2000, she has managed changes in HR processes and systems that resulted in increased effectiveness and efficiency, and developed and facilitated training related to HR processes.
Amy has a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in human resource management from NC State. She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources. Email Amy.
Emily has been employed with NC State since 2008 and has a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in finance from NC State. She has several years of experience working in customer service, payroll, and managing finances both on the NC State campus as well as private industry. Email Emily.
Angela has been employed with NC State since 2003 and has a bachelor’s degree in recreation management from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her background includes experience in classification, compensation, administrative support and recreation. In these roles, she provided guidance and support for the faculty and staff ranging from policy and procedure application to processing HR system actions. She also has a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification and is a Certified Compensation Professional. Email Angela.
Ashley joined the Onboarding Center in 2022. She previously served as an HR partner in NC State’s Physics Department where she was responsible for a variety of HR-related tasks including establishing and maintaining the department’s onboarding and offboarding process for employees. She previously worked at Gregory Poole where she facilitated the onboarding program and new employee orientation and at Caterpillar where she worked to reorganize their global onboarding experience. Her experience is enhanced by her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Meredith College.
Runako joined the Onboarding Center in 2021. He has several years of experience providing support in the medical field and working in customer service. He has a bachelor’s degree from NC State in criminology with a minor in forensic science. He has also worked at Hunt Library as a student assistant. Email Runako
